Fun with crochet

So I learned to crochet last weekend from a simple book I got at Michael's. Really I just wanted to learn how to crochet little amigurumi animals. Well I am FAR from perfecting my skills and I basically just made up these two patterns. The cactus started out as a octopus but got out of control. And the little grey guy started out as a robot but he looks more like an alien now.




The cactus' mouth is quite crooked and really the "arm" was suppose to be a little cactus. Well, back to the drawing board.
