Fiber Friday - Mustard and Grape Sandwich

Hooray! I have had this roving for a bit but didn't quite know what I wanted to do with it. Finally I figured I needed a new, funky, colorful scarf to give my new black dress a bit of je ne sais quoi.

80 yards of merino. This is just the first half of the total roving. It's twin will have more purple and taupe, less chartreuse. The purple and taupe also have firestar in the mix so they has this beautiful sheen.

I finally remembered to do this today. An extreme close-up of my eye (obviously) but my eye gives away how tired I was today (aka the bloodshot-ness).

Found this little guy in a larger pattern of a japanese fabric. He just screamed to be made in to a barrette.
